Fort Desoto
We spent Saturday afternoon, March 24th,2007 at Fort Desoto with our friends ,Joette and Scotty, from Southern Aire RV Resort. This is a really beautiful and interesting area.
The scenery is breath taking. The old fort is still in tact. There is also a state campground on the water. State parks are similar to Ontario's provincial parks.
The cannon is situated behind a bunker aiming to the gulf and that
how the army protected the shore and the land of America.
The campground is spacious and the sites are large.
