White Springs has a host of historic places to see. One of them is the Stephen Foster Culture Centre, which has a state park, a museum in honor of Stephen Foster who wrote the song "Upon the Suwannee River." The interesting part is that Stephen Foster never seen or visited Suwannee River. On the grounds is a clarion from which you can hear music play for miles.
